CAPABILITIES

Cara Peek is a community relations practitioner, specialising in stakeholder liaison and engagement, event management, corporate social responsibility and professional agreement implementation. She is experienced in developing sustainable programs, policy and procedure development as well as risk management and systems auditing. Cara is also skilled in event and venue management, advocating for indigenous issues and cultural awareness training programs.

Cara’s ability’s to adapt between urban and rural life is a great asset and has allowed Cara to work in the public and private sector within domestic and international organisations. Her broad industry experience across all business disciplines enables her to quickly and effectively engage with prospective clients and complete tasks on time and within budget.

Cara is a Director of the unique Broome-based company Peek Consulting Services. Peek Consulting Services brings an innovative approach to consultancy, events and special activities.

Peek Consulting Services combines sound capability of public communications, planning and management with a degree of creativity, flair and local knowledge. Peek Consulting Services has an extensive network of contacts within Broome, across the Pilbara and Kimberley regions, extending to Perth and nationally.

Cara brings a broad spectrum of experiences to YYD, having worked with a diverse range of companies in varied fields over the last 13 years.

Consultancy assignments have been undertaken in different sectors including, law, arts, tourism, agriculture, Indigenous affairs, community service, fashion, building and construction, event management, housing and training and employment. Cara has a creative, strategic and personal approach in designing and delivering solutions for her clients and enjoys the challenges associated with her role in YYD.
